Why consider an internship?

Nationwide, employers emphasize the importance of internships; a significant number of employers report that they specifically look for internship experience on the resumes of job applicants. A letter of recommendation from your internship supervisor can be invaluable in landing the job you want.

Interested? Here are the next steps.

Meet with Dr. Zosha Stuckey, the English internship coordinator, to determine eligibility and discuss your interests. Then, search for and apply to internships. You can email the organization or business direction or fill out their online application where available. Once you receive an offer and have it approved by the internship coordinator, you'll be registered for an internship course (pending availability of seats in each course each semester).
