• The Wall Street Journal  placed TU at No. 1 among all public ¾«¶«´«Ã½ in Maryland, and second to only Johns Hopkins among all ¾«¶«´«Ã½ — public or private — in the state. According to the publication, this year’s rankings placed greater emphasis on student outcomes, including four-year graduation rates and post-graduation salaries. TU ranked No. 50 among public ¾«¶«´«Ã½ nationwide, and No. 128 among all institutions, public or private.
• The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) placed Towson University among the top 9% worldwide in its 2022-23 World University Rankings.
• Princeton Review included TU among the best colleges in the northeast in its  list. The northeast list includes 149 ¾«¶«´«Ã½ in 11 states and the District of Columbia.
